Croat war crimes prisoner dies from poison at the Hague

Slobodan Praljak drank poison in a courtroom at the Hague, after his sentence of 20 years in prison for war crimes committed in Mostar during the Bosnian war from 1992-95 was upheld by the panel..

An independent investigation is now underway into his death, after the Bosnian Croat drank from a small glass as the court looked on.
