Broadcom Moves Legal Home from Singapore to America

The semiconductor company Broadcom has announced that it's relocating its legal home from Singapore to the United States.

The plan was announced live on television by US President Donald Trump and company CEO Hock Tan.

It aligns with Trump's agenda of encouraging a repatriation of American corporate assets and operations, spurred by political pressure and proposed tax incentives.

Mr. Tan says the move will bring in around $20 billion in annual revenue to the United States.
