OPHELIA BRINGS CONTINUED DISRUPTION TO BRITISH ISLES

Parts of the UK are still being buffeted by heavy winds and rain as what used to be Hurricane Ophelia moves across the country.

In the Republic of Ireland nearly a quarter of a million people are without electricity after the storm which killed three people there.

There are a series of warnings in place across parts of the UK disruption to transport services expected.
