White House repeats call for denuclearized Korean peninsula

The Trump administration wants to use agressive measures to urge North Korea back to the negotiating table with the goal fo a de-nuclearized Korean peninsula.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he thinks further sanctions are useless, while Pyongyang appears to be preparing another test missile launch.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke of military sales to Japan and South Korea but now his spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders is trying to dial down the rhetoric.
