INTRO:
The United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres is calling on
Myanmar to end the violence causing more than 120,000 Rohingya people
to flee across the border in recent weeks.
The latest wave of refugees was sparked in late August after Rohingya
militants attacked government forces, who responded with a
counter-offensive that left hundreds dead.
Our UN correspondent Laura Cantekin reports from New York.
