President Donald Trump will announce next Tuesday whether he's going to scrap an Obama-era program providing legal status to nearly 800,000 young people.
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program known as DACA doesn't provide a path to residency or citizenship.
But it does enable young people to renew a visa every two years so that they can work or study without fear of deportation.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders would not say whether pressure from some Republicans would persuade him to maintain the program.
