Spanish police block warehouse holding Catalan referendum ballot boxes

Spanish police have blocked a warehouse containing ballot boxes to be used in Sunday's independence referendum in the region of Catalonia.

Spain's government has branded the vote illegal but Catalan authorities insist they are going ahead with it.
