Russia's communications watchdog issued a warming to the U.S. TV network CNN over a "trivial violation" of the country's law on media. The sanction came a day after Moscow accused Washington of pressuring the US branch of Russia's state-funded propaganda channel Russia Today (RT). Several US bodies investigating Moscow's meddling in last year's US Presidential election had earlier highlighted RT as one of the Kremlin's key propaganda tools.
