White House says Trump 'weighed in' on son's Russia statement

The White House says that President Donald Trump "weighed in as any father would" on a statement his son gave about talks with a Russian lawyer.

Donald Trump Junior was promised information about Hillary Clinton before meeting with a Kremlim-linked lawyer last June. Mr Trump says nothing materialised from the meeting.
