UN: Yemen's cholera outbreak reaches 500,000 cases

INTRO:

The United Nations has announced that the total number of cholera
cases in Yemen has reached 500,000.

The World Health Organization has said the disease is spreading
quickly with 5,000 people contracting the waterborne illness each day.
