UN chief urges diplomacy to counter North Korea

The United Nations Secretary-General has urged for calm over tensions
between the US and North Korea, saying it is time to "dial down
rhetoric and dial up diplomacy".

Antonio Guterres was speaking following an escalation in threats
issued by the two countries' leaders.

The UN Secretary-General said the trend of harsh words risked leading
to violence.
