Work on the construction of the 1 thousand 400-kilometer East African Crude oil pipeline is set to begin.
The leaders of Tanzania and Uganda launched the construction of the export pipeline that will pump Uganda's oil for international markets.
The ceremony took place in Tanzania's port city of Tanga.
