SIERRA LEONE MUDSLIDES

 

INTRO

Hundreds of people are feared dead in Sierra Leone following a heavy down pour that triggered a mudslide. 

The incident happened in the mountain town of Regent on the outskirts of the capital Freetown.

Officials say the numbers of the dead could rise because many people are still uncounted for.
