HOUSTON DECLARES NIGHT-TIME CURFEW

Flood-hit Houston has declared a night-time curfew in response to the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Large parts of the city are still under water with over 20 people reported to have lost their lives.

The curfew's been imposed to try and avoid any possible looting in the city.

Across Texas, more than 13 000 people have been rescued from affected areas.

President Trump visited the state on Tuesday - but avoided Houston with the White House saying it didn't want to disrupt relief efforts.
