US Army leader confirms no guidance on LGBTQ questions

The chief of staff for the U.S. Army is confirming he does not have formal guidance on transgender enlistees.

The White House insists, U.S. President Donald Trump made the decision to ban transgender soldiers, sailors and airmen because it harms unit cohesion.

During a speech at the National Press Club, U.S. Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley confirmed he had not received formal guidance yet.
