UN urges Venezuelan government to allow opposition poll

The United Nations Human Rights office has urged the Venezuelan
government to allow an unofficial referendum to be allowed to take
place peacefully.

The poll has been arranged by opposition groups to gauge opinions
about the president's plan to rewrite the constitution.
