UN: Iraq situation "extremely challenging" post-Mosul

The United Nations envoy for Iraq has warned the humanitarian situation remains "extremely challenging" following the liberation of Mosul.

Briefing the UN Security Council Jan Kubis said implementing development plans and the rule of law is now essential.
