Turkish ministry calls German criticism of of activist arrests ‘unacceptable’

Turkey's foreign ministry accused the German government of interfering in its judicial system after Berlin sharply criticized the arrests of six human rights activists, including a German citizen.

The German government has threatened to cut off billions of euros of European Union aid to Turkey.
