Top European court says asylum seekers can be sent back to first country they arrived in

The EU's top court has ruled that a law requiring refugees to seek asylum in the first European country they reach applies even in exceptional circumstances.
The case was brought by Austria and Slovenia - who want to be able to keep sending migrants back to the country where they entered the EU, usually Greece or Italy.
