U.S. Senator John McCain is urging his fellow lawmakers to proceed with all deliberate care and due process to actually consider the key compromises to actually address the problems with American health care an insurance.
He returned to the chamber after a diagnosis of brain cancer ahead of a key vote to move to debate on repealing and replacing the legislation nicknamed Obamacare.
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence was forced to cast the deciding vote.
After the vote, Senator McCain condemned the process which brought the chamber to this point.
