Putin orders Washington to cut 755 of its diplomatic staff

LEAD:


The Russian President has confirmed that the United States has to cut 755 of its diplomatic staff in Russia. Moscow is also seizing some US diplomatic property.  The move comes after the US Senate approved new sanctions against Russia for its alleged interference in the 2016 US election.  Julia Lyubova reports from Moscow.
