McDonald's shuts down 80% of its outlets in Delhi

Fast food giant McDonald's has suspended operations in 43 of its 55 outlets in New Delhi without giving any reason for the sudden closure.

The company claims that this is a temporary move and that it is working to renew licenses.

The closure comes at a time when McDonald's is struggling to regain market space in the sector- having lost the crown of India's largest fast food chain to Domino's Pizza.
