India's Supreme Court stays cattle slaughter ban

For the next three months there will be no ban on the slaughter of cattle in India. The rule was introduced by the Indian government three months ago to nationwide protests.

This comes a relief for India's $4 billion meat export market as well as for those employed in the meat and leather industry.
