Former US officials express concern over US-Africa relations under Trump administration


We're now six months into the Trump presidency and the administration is way behind in its attempts to fill senior roles in the State Department and USAID.


And one of the key positions yet to be filled is the Assistant Secretary for African Affairs.


That's leading to concerns that this lack of expertise could lead to damaging long-term implications for US-Africa relations.
