Afghan robotics team wins US visas
A team of Afghani girls has finally won a set of visas to participate in an upcoming robotics competition.
Teams from nearly 160 countries are set to compete in Washington, but several teams have struggled to get visas and other permissions to travel to the U.S.
U.S. State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert refused to comment on the state of visas for the Afghan girls but welcomed their participation.
