CHARLIE GARD'S PARENTS SPEND 'LAST MOMENTS'

The parents of terminally-ill baby Charlie Gard are said to be spending their 'last precious moments' with him.

On Monday they ended their legal fight to take him to the US for treatment, insisting he could have been helped if his case hadn't been caught up in the courts.

Doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London say the 11 month-old's rare genetic condition and brain damage mean that experimental therapy wouldn't have been of benefit.

Ashleigh Carroll reports from London.
