US sanctions Chinese bank over North Korea

The U.S. Treasury has issued sanctions against  Bank of Dandong, a Chinese bank and Chinese individuals, in hopes of cutting off North Korea's access to the global financial system.

The goal for the Trump administration is to starve Pyongyang of the cash needed to continue its pursuit of nuclear weapons and missile technology.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin says no one is off limits when it comes to sanctions and North Korea.
