The Trump administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate the travel ban, whilst their appeal of lower court rulings is considered by the nation's highest court.
Federal courts, both considered conservative and liberal, have ruled repeatedly that the the executive order violates constitutional rights to free speech, freedom of religion and due process.
