The deadline for talks to try to revive the power-sharing executive of Northern Ireland has been extended to Monday 3rd July, after parties failed to reach agreement by a Thursday deadline.
Northern Ireland now faces the prospect of direct rule from Westminster, unless political rivals can agree a deal as Catherine Drew reports from London.
