India will honour Paris Climate deal even if US pulls out

As Donald Trump readies to pull out of the Paris deal, India has indicated it will continue to strive to meet targets set for itself. In April, Trump had targeted India to say that the country is not contributing anything to the deal.

India along with other developing countries like China and Brazil have asked developed countries to honor their commitment to give $100 billion per year in aid. India is the third largest emitter of greenhouse gases after the US and China.
