China rebuffs calls by US State Department to release labor rights activists

INTRO:

China has confirmed they've detained three labor rights activists,
after they critisized conditions in factories that make Western
brands, including Ivanka Trump's line of shoes.

In response to calls from the US State Department for their release,
China's foreign ministry said no country has the right to interfere in
its judicial process.
