US military says it is now arming Kurdish forces in Syria

The US military says it is now arming Kurdish YPG forces in Syria as they battle to retake Raqqa from the Islamic State.

The move is set to trigger an angry response from Turkey...which sees the YPG as an extension of the Kurdistan Workers Party...a terrorist group according to the Turkish government.
