A new polling projection has shaken up the UK election by predicting the governing Conservative Party might fail to win a majority on June 8th.
It's based on research by pollsters YouGov which suggests the Conservatives could lose up to 20 seats, with opposition Labour adding nearly 30.
That would leave Prime Minister Theresa May with more MPs than Labour, but without an outright majority.
Most polling so far has suggested the Conservatives will increase their majority.
But Kevin Maguire of the Daily Mirror says it comes off the back of a recent tightening in the polls.
