The US Justice Department has named a special counsel to oversee the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to the position. As US Correspondent Rachel Silverman reports, Mueller served as FBI director from 2001 until 2013.
