Russian President Vladimir Putin has denied his country interfered with the US Presidential election of 2016.
In a press conference with German leader Angela Merkel, President Putin said such allegations are merely rumors.
Both the FBI and the US Congress are investigating allegations that Russia interfered with the election in favour of then-candidate Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.
The comments came as the two leaders met in Sochi in preparation for the upcoming G20 summit in Hamburg in July.
