Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Washington, US President reaffirms commitment to brokering historic peace deal


US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to brokering a historic peace deal between Israel and Palestine.

Speaking to reporters alongside the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in a joint statement at the White House...the US President said a deal can't be imposed by any nation on Israel and Palestine.

But he highlighted the role he wants to play in brokering a deal:
