CORBYN TO JOIN ELECTION DEBATE

UK opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn has announced he will take part in a televised election debate later (1830GMT), and called on Prime Minister Theresa May to do the same.

It comes as the Labour Party tries to heap pressure on the governing Conservatives as polls suggest a tightening in the race ahead of next Thursday's vote.
