Brazil: indigenous community attacked

Human rights advocates are pushing for the Brazilian government to increase protects of a local indigenous community, after members of the Gamela tribe were shot and stabbed.

According to reports, the perpetrators were farmers and landownwers involved in a terrotorial dispute with the tribe.
