The White House is pushing back on a story by the Washington Post that the brother of the Education Secretary met with Russian officials in the Seychelles.
Although he had no official role with the Trump transition, the Washington Post reporters Erik Prince, one of the founders of Blackwater Security, presented himself as an unofficial envoy.
Representatives from the UAE brokered a meeting in the Seychelles with the Russians, with the aim of getting Russia to stop working Iran, especially on Syria.
A spokesman for Erik Prince (who now runs a hong kong based security company) called the newspaper report a complete fabrication as did White House spokesman Sean Spicer.
