Russia calls for emergency UN meeting after US strikes in Syria

Russia has called for an emergency meeting at the United Nations
Security Council to discuss the U.S. missile strike on Syria.

Moscow has strongly condemned the attack on a Syrian airbase with the
country's foreign ministry describing the act as "thoughtless."
