The White House has responded to China's warning there would be consequences for South Korea, over the deployment of a U.S. antimissile warning system, known as THAAD.
The U.S. military has started the process of deploying the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system to South Korea.
The move follows the launch of four missiles that landed off Japan's coast on Sunday.
White House spokesperson Sean Spicer insists the U.S. will hold the line:
