The British government has suffered a second defeat for its Brexit legislation which is being considered by the upper house of parliament, the House of Lords.
Peers voted by 366 votes to 268 to amend the legislation to include an agreement that the final negotiated terms of Britain's exit from the European Union will be put before both houses of parliament. From London, Catherine Drew reports.
