US lawmakers await FBI Director update on Trump wiretapping claims and Russia ties [CLIPS]

The head of the U.S. House of Representatives intelligence committee
says he's seen no evidence thus far that members of the Trump team
colluded with Russia during last year's election.

The intelligence community in the U.S. believe Russia conducted cyber
attacks in a bid to sway the elections in Donald Trump's favor but the
president has dismissed claims that his team had ties with Moscow.

On Monday FBI Director James Comey will testify before the committee
and leading Democrat on the panel Adam Schiff said on NBC's show Meet
the Press that he supports the ongoing investigation.
