The UK's governing Conservative Party has been fined a record £70,000 / $85 000 by the country's Electoral Commission for breaking election spending regulations.
It follows what the Commission says were 'numerous failures' to report expenses related to three by-elections in 2014, and 2015's general election.
The Conservative Party says these were administrative errors.
Political correspondent Theo Usherwood says the controversy could yet grow further.
