Military chiefs from Russia, Turkey and the United States met Tuesday in Ankara to discuss closer coordination on Syria, amid simmering US-Turkey tensions.
The meeting came as US-backed Syrian forces are reportedly closing in on the Islamic State group's stronghold of Raqqa.
