House Intelligence Committee to hold first public hearing on alleged Russian meddling in US election

INTRO:

The U.S. House Intelligence Committee is to hold its first public hearing on the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

FBI Director James Comey, National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper will all be invited.

The committee's chairman, Republican Devin Nunes told reporters it will take place on March 20. He said there's no evidence at this point that Trump or his associates were targeted by the FBI or intelligence agencies.
