Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that ongoing Geneva talks on the Syrian conflict should focus on reaching a 'unified view of how Syria will be governed during the transition period'. Lavrov's comments came after the UN Special Envoy to Syria said that the Syrian government negotiators were prepared to discuss a political transition at peace talks.
