The White House is expressing confidence that the chair of the House Intelligence Committee should continue his investigation into the Russian meddling in American politics.
Republican Representative Devin Nunes has been accused of providing cover for the White House by cancelling a hearing with acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates and by failing to share information with the Democrats on briefings he claimed he had at the White House.
