EU Council President Donald Tusk is meeting with several EU leaders, including Angela Merkel, in Malta, the day after Britain announced its official intention to leave the bloc.
The meeting isn't a formal summit, but leaders are discussing the framework of negotiations - with a clash brewing with the UK over whether a trade deal can be done at the same time as the divorce talks.
