Top Republicans are joining calls for U.S. Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, to recuse himself from investigations into whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.
However, they are stopping short of forcing him to quit, over allegations he lied under oath over his contact with the Russian Ambassador to Washington, last year.
Questions over the extent of the Trump administration's relationship with Russia, during the election campaign are threatening to engulf the White House.
